A few weeks ago I traveled down to the Lehigh Phoenix Color plant in Hagerstown, Maryland for an on press check of the cover printing for DIARY OF A WIMPY KID : DOG DAYS. My main goal was to make sure that the color yellow was printing correctly. It was!

Samantha Cope—Cover model for The GIRLS and TROY HIGH
The lovely Samantha Cope emailed me this great photo last week. She is the cover model that Jonathan Beckerman and I used for two cover photographs of the newly released Troy High and last years The Girls. Beyond cover model Samantha is one of the stars of the new CW show The Lake. Check it out.

Music Video Monday—Kuroshio Sea
Two days early but I thought this was amazingly beautiful that I would post it earlier.
Kuroshio Sea is the second largest aquarium in the world. From Wikipedia:
"The aquarium is a part of the Ocean Expo Commemorative National Government Park located in Motobu, Okinawa. The main tank called the ‘Kuroshio Sea’ holds 7,500-cubic meters (1,981,290 gallons) of water and features the world’s second largest acrylic glass panel, measuring 8.2 meters by 22.5 meters with a thickness of 60 centimeters. Whale sharks and manta rays are kept amongst many other fish species in the main tank."
